Amal Alamuddin, a 36 year old London-based dual-qualified English barrister and New York litigation attorney who has long been a high-profile figure in international refugee and human rights law has gone against the trend for professional women in her field and married… an actor.
Amal is an educated and successful career woman we’ve long admired. The high-flying barrister has notched up many career highs, including representing the controversial WikiLeaks whistleblower Julian Assange, and also has multilingual fluency in English, French and Arabic.
Amal attended St. Hugh’s College, Oxford University, earning her BA/LLB and receiving the Exhibitioner, Shrigley Award. She also attended New York University School of Law earning her LLM and receiving the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award.

Little is known of Amal’s earlier relationships (we assume she was climbing that corporate ladder and smashing glass ceilings) but she’s tying the knot with an actor, whose name is George Clooney, we’re told .He’s probably a nice man, but seems to be a bit clingy, as since she met him it’s hard to find a photo or footage of Amal without him hanging around in the background.
We only hope he doesn’t hold her back from conquering the world. We think this George Clooney fellow has scored big time.
He’s been quoted as saying he was ‘marrying up’… we agree.
Tonto Dikeh offers condolences to T.B Joshua over collapsed building
Tonto Dikeh has sent out her condolences to Tb Joshua and his church over the unfortunate collapse of the hostel quaters which resulted in the death of 115.
In 2012 Tonto Dikeh credited him with making her quit her smoking habit of 14 years..She said
“I was watching a program on TV with Prophet T.B. Joshua and he was laying hands on people and praying for them. I love to watch his programs on Emmanuel TV. When he was praying, he said, ‘Lay your hands on the TV’ and I just laid my hands that day. I actually needed something else from God, not to quit smoking because I loved smoking! However, after praying I sat back and I think I slept off.”When I woke up, I took a stick of cigarette and I felt crazy. I couldn’t even imagine that I took it up to smoke in the first place. It felt like poison!

Juliet Ibrahim addresses her relationship with Ik Ogbonna
Juliet Ibrahim has definitely moved on from Ik Ogbonna, and he looks like he has too after flaunting his Colombian girlfriend on social media. In a new interview with Encomium magazine,she addressed the rumours .When asked about her split with her husband,she said
“I am divorced and I don’t intend discussing it. It didn’t work out based on irreconcilable differences and we decided to go our separate ways.”
When asked about her rumoured relationship with Ik Ogbonna
“I have no reaction. I am in the public eye, I hear stories about myself every morning. You shouldn’t expect me to react to everything I hear or read.I believe the media needs to focus on more important issues at the moment such as the deadly Ebola virus, please, help create awareness and stop bothering yourselves about rumours.”

Etcetera has been churning out articles and stepping on a lot of toes with his bluntness. Tiwa and husband were the first to blast him after his article on 2nd hand husbands...,then he talked about celebrities being slaves to telecommunication companies in the name of being ambassadors ...The last article was on on -air-personalities who he accused of having fake accents and recycling popular music as against supporting real upcoming talent..
Freeze of CoolFm ,one of the most notable Nigerian OAP's found it hard to swallow and took to twitter to slam him..He didn't mention names but it's clear...

Mercy Johnson-"I hid in a car boot the first time I met Genevieve Nnaji"
Mercy Johnson is as real it it's gets. She doesn't hide her admiration for her peers especially Genevieve Nnaji. She opened up to City people magazine on the first time they met
Ahh! The first time I met her, my friend took me there. When we got to where she was, I became nervous. I told my friend “no let me hide in your boot.” And I did. I got into her boot. (laughs) Can you imagine I came to see her and when I got there I wanted to run back. I jumped into my friends boot. So, when she came out of the hotel, I could not see her, I could only hear her voice.
The 2nd time I saw her was on set. When she came down and I met her she said ahh! Mercy I like your movies and I started crying. I was in tears of joy. I said Aunty Genevieve, so you watch my movies. She was sort of embarrassed. Before I met her, she had already known that there was somebody who was crazily insane about her. She was really nice to me, receptive. And even whenever we work together she will correct me and say that thing you did, you could have done it this way.
Usually, in life, you will know somebody, who is more than you. Give him or her that respect. You can’t fight a battle you can’t win. It does not make any sense. If somebody is much more than you, there is nothing as big as you admitting it, and hearing from that person. I didn’t come into the picture to compete with anybody. I didn’t come into the picture to rub shoulders or outshine anybody. I came to learn, do it well, make it and be there.
On stories of their rumoured beef
I really don’t know. I love Genevieve a lot. Growing up I discovered myself on time, I got to know my potentials. I got to know my weaknesses and I respected them. So, I didn’t really look at anybody as a threat, because the field is big
enough. It is so large. All you have to do is make your footprint matter and people will come. You don’t force the fans to like you. In my entire career nobody for me has been worth my distraction or was enough to be a competition for me. It is do your thing I do my thing. We have different physiques, different voices. Let the fans choose, who does it better. It is only those who don’t know the meaning of self-realization that will begin to see someone as a threat. I never did see anybody as a threat. I saw my seniors as a pathway for me to learn from, not as a threat. I didn’t come into the industry because I wanted to take over from them, because there is no movie I will do that will measure up to what they had done.
There is no acting I will act today that Genevieve has not acted. So, it was more like I want to learn from you, and I want to better myself for me, not because I want to edge you out. The industry is so large that only one person can’t occupy it. It is when you don’t understand who you are, when you have not realized self actualization, you don’t know who you are, that is when you begin to see people as a threat, or as a competitor. That came up at a point in my career. It came up and it even made me stronger and bigger. Nobody was actually worth my distraction, or strong enough to be a competition for me.
